Self-Exclusion
How to take a break by locking yourself out of your account.
Updated
cooldown, cool off, close account, timeout, gambling problemSelf-exclusion locks you out of your account entirely for a period you choose: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 6 months. For something softer than a full lockout, capping your wagers or losses may be enough.
The moment an exclusion starts you are signed out everywhere. Until it ends you cannot sign in, deposit, or bet, and nothing can lift it early. Not you, not support, not anyone. That is the point: the decision is made once, while you are clear headed, and cannot be renegotiated with yourself later.
A few practical details:
- Withdrawals already on their way when the exclusion starts are still processed.
- Your exclusion is private. It is not shown on your profile or announced to anyone.
- A confirmation email is sent when it begins.
- Self-exclusion survives account deletion, so deleting the account and registering again does not get around it.
To self-exclude, open Safe Play, choose Self-Exclusion, pick the duration, and type EXCLUDE to confirm. With two-factor authentication on, it asks for a code as the final step. For what happens when the period is over, see Returning From Self-Exclusion.
If six months is not long enough, email support@bloxcash.com and ask for a longer or permanent exclusion, which is applied by hand. A permanent exclusion will not be lifted on request.
If you are excluding because play has stopped feeling like a choice, there is help beyond this site too; see Problem Gambling Support.
