Troubleshooting Site Issues

What to try when pages break, stall, or load strangely.

Updated

A stuck page, a game that will not start, a layout that looks wrong: these steps fix almost all of it. Work through them in order.

  1. Hard refresh the page: Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac. This forces the browser to fetch the site fresh instead of using what it saved earlier, which is the usual culprit right after we ship an update.
  2. Try a private or incognito window. Extensions are off there by default, so if the site works in one, an extension is interfering. Ad blockers and privacy extensions are the common offenders, and letting BloxCash through in their settings fixes it for good.
  3. Clear the browser’s cached data for the site. Every browser keeps this under its settings as clear browsing data or similar; cached images and files is the option that matters. You will be signed out, so have your password handy.
  4. Try another network or device. If the site works on your phone’s data but not your wifi, the connection is the problem rather than the site.

Games and your balance update over a live connection, so a patchy network can make the site feel frozen even when nothing is wrong. It reconnects on its own.

If the problem is site wide, the Discord server is where we post about it. And if none of this helps, contact support with your browser and what you have already tried.
