Changing Your Email Address

You can change your email from Settings, under Security. Enter your current password, type the new address, and save. If two-factor authentication is on, you confirm the change with a code.

The new address starts out unverified. A fresh verification link is sent to it, and until you click that link the things that need a verified email, like withdrawing, tipping, and redeeming codes, are paused. See Verifying Your Email.

Keep the address current: it is where password resets, verification links, and notices about your account go. If you lose access to the inbox on file and forget your password too, getting back in becomes much harder.

One exception: accounts registered with Google cannot change their email here, because the address is anchored to the Google identity you sign in with. See Signing In with Google.
