Finding Your Transaction ID

Every crypto transfer has a transaction ID, a long string of letters and numbers also called a hash. When support asks for it, this is where to look in the wallet you sent from:

• Coinbase: open the transaction under Assets, then the coin, then the transfer. The ID is shown in the details, sometimes behind View on block explorer.
• Binance: Wallet, then Transaction History, then tap the withdrawal. The TxID is listed in the details.
• MetaMask: open Activity, tap the transfer, and use Copy transaction ID or view it on the explorer.
• Trust Wallet: open the coin, tap the transfer in its history, and copy the hash from the details.
• Any other wallet: open the transfer in its history and look for a field called hash, TxID, or transaction ID. Almost every wallet also offers a view on explorer button, and the address bar of the explorer page ends with the ID.

The ID is safe to share. It reveals the transfer itself, which is already public on the blockchain, and nothing about your wallet’s keys.
