Changing Your Avatar
Picking a preset or uploading your own picture.
Updated
profile picture, pfpYour avatar can be changed at any time from Settings, under Profile. There are two routes:
- Pick a preset. A set of ready made BloxCash avatars is there for everyone, and switching between them is instant.
- Upload your own. A custom picture must be a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 5 MB and no larger than 4096×4096 pixels. It is cropped square from the centre and shrunk down to avatar size, so close crops work better than wide scenes.
Every upload is also screened automatically for inappropriate content. Nudity, gore, hateful imagery, and anything in that neighbourhood is refused on the spot, with no human review to appeal to. If a harmless picture keeps getting caught, crop it differently or choose another; the screen errs on the side of refusing.
If an upload is refused for technical reasons instead, it broke one of the file rules: a type we do not accept (SVG included), too heavy, too many pixels, or a file that is not actually an image underneath its name, which is common with pictures renamed to .png. Re-exporting from any image editor usually fixes it.
Your avatar sits next to everything you say, so keep it something you would be happy to see in chat. The conduct expectations in Chat Rules cover how you appear there, not just what you type.
