Case Battles Explained
How case battles are played and how winners are decided.

unboxing, PvP, opening, oddsA case battle is a race to unbox the most value. Everyone in the battle opens the same cases, round by round, and when the last case is opened the totals decide who takes the pot.
In the standard mode the highest total wins everything unboxed by every player, and a tie splits the pot evenly between the tied players. Other rules exist too, from shared pots to lowest total wins; see Case Battle Modes.
To join a battle, open Battles and take an empty seat in any open one. A seat costs the combined price of the battleās cases. To create your own, pick between 1 and 50 cases, choose the format and mode, and open it. Empty seats can be filled with bots, so you never have to wait around for opponents.
Battles add an extra layer of randomness drawn from a public blockchain, so nobody, including us, can know the results before the battle starts. See How Case Battles Stay Fair.
